It is my privilege to welcome you to the Sindh Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (SICVD), an institution dedicated to transforming cardiac healthcare across Sindh. Since our establishment in 2017, SICVD has been at the forefront of delivering state-of-the-art, high-quality cardiac care to patients of all ages, right at their doorstep, and entirely free of cost. Our mission goes beyond exceptional patient care to include training, research, and innovation, ensuring that every individual across the province has access to world-class cardiovascular services.
At SICVD Network, we provide advanced cardiac interventions for both adults and pediatric patients, with a special focus on primary angioplasty, a life-saving procedure for heart attack patients. Hospitals at Tando Muhammad Khan, Sukkur, Larkano, and Hyderabad offer comprehensive open-heart surgeries for adult and pediatric patients, ensuring advanced surgical care is available close to patients’ communities. Our facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art cath labs and staffed by highly skilled cardiologists, paediatric cardiac specialists, and cardiac surgeons, guaranteeing timely, effective treatment for life-threatening conditions.
In addition to emergency interventions, SICVD hospitals provide routine outpatient consultations, follow-ups, and preventive care, helping patients manage their heart health proactively. Specialized stroke treatment programs at Sukkur and Tando Muhammad Khan offer advanced interventions, including thrombolysis and mechanical thrombectomy, for patients arriving within the critical 4–6 hour window, entirely free of charge.
To date, SICVD has established 10 state-of-the-art cardiac hospitals across Sindh, ensuring that advanced treatment is accessible within 90 minutes for every patient:

Together, with the unwavering support of the Government of Sindh, we will continue to bring hope, healing, and life-saving cardiac care to every community we serve.
