Cardiac Interventions for Adults and Pediatrics
At SICVD Network, we provide advanced cardiac interventions for both adult and pediatric patients, focusing on life-saving procedures such as primary angioplasty for heart attack patients. These interventions are designed to restore blood flow to the heart quickly and effectively, minimizing damage to cardiac tissue and significantly improving patient survival and recovery.
Equipped with state-of-the-art cath labs and staffed by experienced cardiologists and pediatric cardiac specialists, SICVD ensures that patients across Sindh have access to timely, high-quality cardiac care, even in emergency situations. Open-Heart Surgeries for Adults and Pediatric Patients
SICVD hospitals at Tando Muhammad Khan, Sukkur, Larkano, and Hyderabad now offer comprehensive open-heart surgical services for both adult and pediatric patients. These state-of-the-art facilities are equipped with the latest technology and staffed by highly skilled cardiac surgeons, ensuring that patients across Sindh have access to advanced, life-saving cardiac surgery close to their communities. This initiative reflects SICVD’s commitment to providing high-quality, specialized cardiac care to patients of all ages, entirely free of cost.
Outpatient Departments (OPDs) & Routine Care
SICVD hospitals also provide routine OPD consultations, follow-ups, and preventive care, helping patients manage their heart health effectively. Equipped with advanced technology and staffed by highly trained professionals, SICVD ensures that life-saving interventions are available to every patient, regardless of their location or financial status.
Expanding Services: Stroke and Cardiac Care
In addition to comprehensive cardiac services, SICVD has introduced specialized stroke treatment programs at Sukkur and Tando Muhammad Khan. These centers provide advanced stroke interventions, including thrombolysis and mechanical thrombectomy, to patients arriving within the critical 4–6 hour window after symptom onset, entirely free of charge.

The Chest Pain Unit Program: Revolutionizing Emergency Cardiac Care
SICVD has pioneered the Chest Pain Unit (CPU) program, transforming emergency cardiac care in Pakistan. These units provide immediate, state-of-the-art care for patients experiencing chest pain, often a precursor to a heart attack, without delays caused by traffic or distance.
CPUs at Karachi:
Currently, 19 CPUs operate in key locations across Karachi, including Gulshan-e-Chowrangi, Malir Halt Flyover, Qayyumabad Chowrangi, Nagan Chowrangi Flyover, Landhi, Karimabad Flyover, Orangi Town, Gizri, New Karachi, Moosa Lane, Lyari, Quaidabad, Cantonment, Keamari, ASF Medical Centre, Malir Cantonment, KIHD, Sindh High Court Bar, JPMC, Gulshan-e-Hadeed.
Provincial Expansion
The CPU program has now expanded to other cities in Sindh, including Ghotki, Tando Bago, Jacobabad, Umerkot, Mirpurkhas, Shikarpur, Thatta, Kashmore, Bhiria City, and Sanghar. These units stabilize patients on-site and provide life-saving interventions free of cost, ensuring that critical cardiac care is accessible to everyone, regardless of location or economic background.
